Job Summary

Job Title: Molecular Lab technologist

Location: Edison NJ

Job Description

Responsibilities

Conduct laboratory tests and analyses of samples using various molecular biology methodologies including real-time PCR panther kingfisher quant studio biorad cfx etc
Record and analyse data and prepare reports and summaries of findings
Perform instrument maintenance quality control and troubleshooting procedures
Assist with developing and validating new assays and protocols
Collaborate with healthcare providers and other laboratory staff to interpret test results and ensure proper patient care
Adhere to laboratory safety and infection control policies and procedures
Will report to Lab supervisor

Qualifications and experience

Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science Biology or related field
Preferred: Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
Experience with molecular biology techniques and instruments for at least a year
