. This full-time on-site position offers a remarkable opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering high-quality anesthetic care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures.

In this role you will be at the forefront of patient care ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing complex surgeries. Youll collaborate closely with surgical teams and other medical professionals to develop and implement anesthesia plans tailored to individual patient needs contributing significantly to positive surgical outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing cardiac surgeries
  • Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals
  • Evaluate patients medical histories and perform pre-anesthetic assessments
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and support to patients
  • Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology techniques
  • Educate patients and families regarding anesthesia procedures
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology
  • Clinical experience in Cardiac Anesthesiology preferred
  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and protocols
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and safety

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p

Call: 1:4 cardiac call rotation with post-call day off

Annual Volume: 200 cardiac cases

Team Structure: 4 CT anesthesiologists 6 general anesthesiologists 3 pediatric anesthesiologists

Perform cardiac cases independently

Supervise CRNAs for non-cardiac cases

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive base salary

$75k sign-on bonus

$35k relocation
