Responsible for driving GE Vernova Wind accounting compliance financial and operational internal controls process simplification and operational excellence to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis in a monthly -depth understanding of key Wind business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work in Controllership.
Focused on execution of standard enabling activities/provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline. There may be some latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing situations due to Wind finance structure plan.

Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for general accounting and policy application & process administration for all controllership cycles for Wind Segment . Understand and interpret applicable Enterprise Standards SOP and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial process.
Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy. Basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
Typically line manager of a professional Controllership department. Developing specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job dicipline or field. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest functional developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensures delivery within area of responsibility.
Communication with Global Process Leaders about design and coordination services rendered. Provides guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.
Impacts projects processes and procedures in own field. May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy/parameters.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
Impacts approaches projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality efficiency and effectiveness of own team / scope . These jobs have significant input into their priorities. Jobs at this level tend to be covered by professional practices and policies but these are shaped by the role. Working within broad guidelines and policies roles at this level have moderate autonomy requiring high levels of evaluative judgment.

Required Qualifications
This role requires basic experience in the Finance & Accounting Operations USGAAP.
Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
At least 6 years of experience in Controllership /Finance .
