This modern purpose-built nursing home combines warm well-designed living spaces with established clinical systems and landscaped gardens used daily by residents and staff. The Deputy Nurse Manager holds a senior clinical leadership role supporting the Home Manager while providing hands-on oversight of dementia and complex nursing care.

What Youll Need

  • Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with valid NMC registration
  • Senior nursing experience such as Clinical Lead Unit Manager or Deputy Nurse Manager
  • Proven experience in nursing home and dementia care
  • Strong track record managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk
  • Experience contributing to service development or quality improvement initiatives
  • Familiarity with electronic care planning systems

What Youll Do

  • Monitor standards of care delivered by nursing and care staff
  • Support the Home Manager with policy implementation and operational objectives
  • Oversee safeguarding concerns clinical risk assessments and investigations
  • Ensure residents care plans are accurate current and reflective of need
  • Act as a key point of contact for residents families and healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to staff development supervision and clinical guidance
