Job Overview:
Support site(s) by providing guidance and EHS knowledge to help minimize employee illness and injuries. Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant industry standards and help identify and lower EHS-related risks such as fires and environmental releases.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Support daily EHS operations assist with injury investigations address employee concerns evaluate hazards and help implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to all established policies and procedures.
- Analyze EHS data and manage forms and templates ensuring all documentation is accurately maintained on the EHS SharePoint platform.
- Assist in updating policies and SOPs by partnering with the QA team to prepare documents for release via the Veeva system.
- Deliver technical guidance training and expertise to meet relevant state or national regulations and industry norms including office safety remote worker protection risk analysis emergency preparedness and lead EHS Committee meetings.
- Support local management during emergencies and crisis situations that require EHS efforts.
- Engage in APAC EHS projects as directed supporting regional initiatives and developing skills in wider EHS programs.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with site staff team members and management.
- Take on other related responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
- Bachelors degree in EHS or related field; 4 years of relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of EHS regulations and practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience (Minimum Required):
- 4 Years of experience in EHS.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
- Certification in Safety Industrial Hygiene or Environmental fields is preferred but not mandatory.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Flexible schedule with hybrid working; minimum 2 days in office per week for team collaboration.
- Office work environment
