They collaborate with teams to translate design concepts into production-ready blueprints ensure compliance with industry standards and revise designs based on feedback.

Key Responsibilities

Design Creation: Generate detailed technical drawings layouts and schematics (2D/3D) using AutoCAD.

Drafting & Modeling: Convert sketches specifications and 3D concepts into actionable CAD models.

Collaboration: Work with engineers architects and project managers to understand design requirements.

Revisions: Update modify and manage revisions to existing drawings.

Quality Assurance: Verify design accuracy ensuring compliance with industry standards building codes and company procedures.

Documentation: Organize and maintain drawing files and project documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD (2D/3D modeling).

Education: Bachelors or Diploma in Mechanical Civil or Electrical Engineering or related field.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of drafting principles standards symbols and interpretation of blueprints.

Software Familiarity: Knowledge of related software like SolidWorks Revit or Civil 3D is often required.

Soft Skills: High attention to detail strong spatial visualization and effective communication skills.
