The Office of Administrative Hearings is responsible for conducting administrative hearings for most state agencies in the State of mission is to serve the public by providing fair accessible and efficient contested case services in a neutral forum. Every day our staff of dedicated professionals provides hearing services for Oregonians throughout the state regarding issues that affect their daily lives their businesses and their professions. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Serve as the receptionist in the Tualatin Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH) office ensuring the office is opened and closed each day. Operating hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. This position provides customer service to the public and hearing participants. Provides front line support to the Office of Administrative Hearings operations. Duties include clerical and support functions such as receptionist duties answering telephones filing documents processing incoming and outgoing mail processing incoming faxes copying and scanning documents ordering supplies loading copy machines checking out equipment and other general office duties as needed.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Required Minimum Qualifications

One year of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding word processing or other experience generating documents; OR

An equivalent combination of experience and college coursework or training in a general office occupation.

This position will require travel including to multiple Office of Administrative Hearings offices throughout the state. Employee is required to possess and maintain a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record to check out a state vehicle.

WORK LOCATION INFORMATION:

This position will report to the Tualatin OAH office at 7995 SW Mohawk St. Entrance B Tualatin OR 97062 and is not suitable for remote or hybrid remote work. Operating hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
