Job Summary

At Modo Energy were building the global standard for benchmarking and valuing the worlds electrification assets - unlocking returns for battery energy storage solar wind and data centres.

Account Executive - Spain

Were looking for a smart autonomous Account Executive to drive our growth in Spain. As our first AE hire in the region youll build our sales presence from the ground up and play a key role in expanding our market footprint.

What youll do

Own the deal Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to close hitting quarterly and annual revenue targets. Build and maintain a healthy pipeline by focusing on legitimate opportunities that create predictable forecasts.

Show clients whats possible Demonstrate how Modo Energys platform transforms performance through data and analytics. Work with clients to understand their business goals and deliver solutions that move the needle.

Build for the future Help shape our sales approach and tools. We want builders who can implement new processes leverage AI to hit targets more effectively and create scalable ways of working as we grow.

Work across teams Partner with product marketing and customer success to make sure were aligned on client needs and delivering exceptional service.

What were looking for

Experience that counts

  • 3 years building sales processes at growth-stage or scale-up businesses
  • Full-cycle B2B software/SaaS sales experience with complex multi-threaded deals
  • Track record closing enterprise deals
  • Comfort with high-velocity target-driven environments

Skills that matter

  • Strong communicationyou make complex solutions clear and compelling
  • Excellent time management and relationship-building abilities
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Sharp negotiation and closing skills

The right mindset Resilient optimistic and growth-oriented. You thrive in fast-paced environments and love working with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have Energy sector experience particularly in low-carbon business models or energy trading.

Work setup: We value collaboration and team culture. Everyones in the office Tuesday through Thursday with flexibility to work from home or the office on Mondays and Fridays.

Compensation: Competitive salary plus double OTE potentially life-changing equity package and top-of-market benefits.
