Job Summary

A large and inclusive secondary school in West Yorkshire is seeking a professional and highly organised HR Administrator to support its people operations from January 2026. This is a trusted role within the school supporting staff throughout the full employment lifecycle.

The Role

Working closely with senior leaders and the business team you will provide high-quality HR administration and ensure compliance with employment and safeguarding requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Recruitment administration and onboarding of new staff

  • Maintaining personnel files contracts and safeguarding checks

  • Supporting absence management and staff wellbeing processes

  • Preparing documentation for payroll and senior leadership

  • Responding to HR queries with discretion and professionalism

  • Supporting policy implementation and compliance
