Job Summary
Q Underwriting an MGA (part of PIB Group) was created from multiple underwriting brands with extensive history in their chosen niches. Q Underwriting provides 30 niche commercial lines products all backed by A rated insurers. All our products are underwritten in-house by Qs experienced team and can be traded via the Qtrade portal or by direct access to empowered underwriters.
There now exists an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to cover the South West of England Region
What you will be doing:
Manage and develop relationships with a panel of insurance brokers to drive profitable growth
Analyse broker performance market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
Deliver regular performance reviews and provide actionable insights to brokers
Proactively seek new business opportunities within the broker network
Prepare and present reports forecasts and business cases to senior management
Comfortable working remotely and managing own schedule to meet objectives
Experience in insurance and broker management essential
Willingness to travel for broker meetings and industry events as required
