Description
Background Information:
  • The purpose of this request is to acquire an Intermediate Project Control Officer to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the health Innovation Pathway (HIP) program are accomplished in accordance with Ontario Healths established priorities time limitations funding limitations or other specifications. and nbsp;
  • The Project Coordinator will support team members in the successful delivery of the Health Innovation Pathway ensuring strong project communication documentation and reporting.
  • HIP brings promising innovations into the health system improving patient outcomes driving economic growth and helping Ontarios health system reach its full potential. It is designed to accelerate the adoption of new technologies that can improve patient care. The pathway connects the dots for end-to-end innovation adoption in Ontario creating a single window to introduce new solutions and giving health service providers the tools they need to improve care. and nbsp;

Must haves:
  • Three to five years of business experience including one to two years experience in a project coordination role
  • Experience with and knowledge of Project Management concepts (e.g. project goals risk scope participant roles project and work package planning and amp; scheduling and quality management)
  • Demonstrated experience with the management of project or program communications including both verbal and written and strong partner engagement skills
  • Experience with document management including the application of standards version-control and storage
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint Excel and MS Project
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated excellent time management with the ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects and nbsp;

Desired Skills:
  • Experience in change management process development and business/project management operations is preferred

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the project team in planning organizing and executing project activities
  • Maintain project schedules track milestones and ensure deliverables are on time and within scope
  • Coordinate meetings prepare agendas and document minutes for project-related sessions
  • Prepare and update project documentation including status reports RAID logs and Gantt charts
  • Ensure proper version control and storage of project artifacts in designated repositories
  • Support compliance with organizational standards and governance processes
  • Act as a liaison between project teams and partners ensuring clear and timely communication
  • Facilitate information flow across teams and escalate issues when necessary
  • Support engagement activities including workshops and stakeholder sessions and nbsp;

Required Experience / Evaluation Criteria: and nbsp; and nbsp;

Total Evaluation Criteria: 100 Points

Deliverables
Deliverables Include:
  • Support project working group and committee(s) and nbsp;
  • Project and meeting coordination including tracking action items maintaining decision logs and following up on team commitments and nbsp;
  • Acting as the central intake point for project communications and nbsp;
  • Ensuring documentation follows standards is version-controlled and stored centrally and nbsp;
  • Maintaining integrated project schedules and milestone tracking and nbsp;
  • Demonstrating continuous improvement and decision support in alignment with program and organization goals


Knowledge Transfer Details:
  • The resource will ensure full knowledge transfer is provided to the Ontario Health team before end of engagement. Some of this might occur at the end of the engagement but will also be shared as information is obtained/consolidated. Key deliverables will be shared with team.
  • The resource must provide all related documentation as part of knowledge transfer protocol. Documents will be reviewed by the appropriate leads and signed off by manager/director.
  • The resource will work collaboratively with the Ontario Health team throughout the assignment and ensure key deliverables milestones and documentation are shared.
  • A walkthrough of any demos development etc. will be required before the end of the engagement.
