Investment Associate Built World &Technology

Position Summary:

CerityPartners Ventures (CPV) is hiring Investment Associates for our Built World and Technology teams. Founded as Touchdown Ventures in 2014 CPV pioneered Venture Capital-as-a-Service (VCaaS) for corporations working with leading brands like Kellogg T-Mobile BEHR and more. With a team of 50 investment professionals in Boston Chicago Los Angeles New York Philadelphia and San Francisco CPV manages more than 20 corporate venture capital funds.

As an Investment Associate you will work on a dedicated fund team focused on AI insurance technology home services construction technology building products and more as part of our larger Built World/Technology sector practices. Investment Associates source venture capital investment opportunities and helpimpactthe innovation strategies at some of the worlds most successful corporations. The Associate role is an exciting and entrepreneurial opportunity to join a growing firm providing potential for growth and advancement. We are building something special and are seeking candidates who share our vision and excitement.

This position will be based with our team in New York or San Francisco.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identifypotential start-up investments and source relationships with the company founders

• Meet with entrepreneurs and evaluate their business plans and pitches

• Track and report on deal flow generated by our team

• Research industry sectors trends and market dynamics

• Assistwith due diligence

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree

• 1-3 years ofrelevantwork experience

• Critical thinkingskills including superior research and analytical ability

• Positive andflexibleattitude
