We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer Material Flow to lead material flow optimization initiatives and drive operational excellence within our warehouse and manufacturing environments. This role will focus on developing and implementing Plan for Every Part (PFEP) strategies configuring and deploying Warehouse Management (WM) systems and executing projects that enhance efficiency accuracy and scalability.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial engineering and logisticsnot an entry-level backgroundcombined with strong technical knowledge and a proven track record of delivering results in complex operations.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain PFEP for all materials to ensure optimal flow and inventory accuracy.
  • Design and implement material flow strategies to improve throughput reduce waste and optimize space utilization.
  • Configure and support Warehouse Management (WM) system setup and integration with ERP systems (SAP experience strongly preferred).
  • Lead process improvement projects using Lean principles and data-driven analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations Supply Chain IT) to ensure seamless execution of logistics strategies.
  • Analyze material handling equipment needs and recommend solutions for efficiency and safety.
  • Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions to meet operational targets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering preferred; alternatively a bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Business Management or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial engineering or logistics within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Strong knowledge of PFEP methodology material flow design and warehouse layout optimization.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WM) and ERP integration (SAP preferred).
  • Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement tools.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities to influence and drive change.


The Salary range for this position is $89800.00-$ specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience their education and the work location.
