Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer for our downtown Roanoke VA office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing HVAC systems for a variety of project types including educational civic arts and commercial buildings. Strong communication skills the ability to work in a team environment and willingness to mentor staff are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC systems for various project types
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Mentor junior staff members
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Requirements:
- Licensed Mechanical Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- 7-10 years of professional experience preferred
- Proficient in design load calculation and energy modeling programs (Trace ComCheck)
- Experience with Word and Excel
- Proficiency in REVIT preferred
