The Barrington School District is seeking a highly skilled and collaborative School Psychologist for the 2026-27 school year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer psychological intellectual social emotional and academic assessments for students suspected of or identified with disabilities. All evaluations must align with National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) standards.
Translate complex data into comprehensive written reports and clear verbal presentations providing actionable recommendations for parents and educators.
Deliver evidence-based counseling services to students with behavioral challenges and special needs as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Serve as an integral member of the IEP team interpreting independent evaluations facilitating eligibility determinations and recommending appropriate programming.
Act as a strategic resource for teachers and administrators providing expert guidance on best practices for supporting students with disabilities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven ability to collect organize and analyze academic and behavioral data to inform instruction and intervention.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to navigate sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.
Strong time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple evaluation timelines effectively.
A deep understanding of special education procedures state regulations and NASP ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- School PsychologistNH Certification Required;
- Masters Degree in related field;
- relevant experience in an educational setting;
- a minimum of 3 years experience working as a School Psychologist is preferred.
