Job Summary

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma
  • 2 years of experience with administrative work

Knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Office products
  • State policy and procedures

Ability to:

  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external partners
  • To operate a personal computer and general office equipment as necessary to complete essential functions including using spreadsheet word processing database email internet and other computer programs.
  • To navigate changing duties and priorities throughout the day.

The marketing communications film and tourism programs are all part of a versatile and cohesive Brand MT team that works to sustain and grow Montanas economy. The programs develop and use communications advertising development and promotional campaigns to showcase Montana and create awareness about the state as a place to visit and do business. Job Overview:

As part-time support for the Office of Tourism the position provides additional general administrative support for the office. The incumbent administers the daily function of the Office of Tourism to ensure the effectiveness of ongoing office operations and activities; and coordinates and performs a variety of administrative services in support of Office of Tourism activities. This position will help coordinate with staff successful events and outreach related activities that facilitate the successful implementation of Destination MT and the Office of Tourism initiatives and strategic plan and goals.
