Securitas Security Services is expanding our Security Team at Lonza. We are looking for Part-Time and Full-Time Security Officersto fill various shifts.

The ideal candidate brings a background in military service law enforcement or security along with strong leadership and managerial capabilities. Previous experience in security or management is strongly preferred but not required as Securitas offers a comprehensive training program to support your success. Whether you are just starting your career or in retirement Securitas is a GREAT choice!

Pay Rate: Starting at $20.00/hr with shift differential for 3^rd shift being $21.20

Schedules/Shifts Available:

1^st Shift Sunday Thursday 6:00am 2:00pm 40 hrs/week

1^st/2^nd Shift Friday & Saturday 6:00am 2:00pm Sunday & Monday 2:00pm 10:00pm 32 hrs/week

3^rd Shift Wednesday Saturday 10:00pm 6:00am 32 hrs/week

3^rd Shift Saturday Tuesday 10:00pm 6:00am 32 hrs/week

3^rd Shift Sunday Tuesday 10:00pm 6:00am 24 hrs/week

Requirements:

18 Years of age or older.
High School Diploma or GED.
Standard computer / technology skills needed.
Previous Military and/or Law enforcement experience a plus!!
Must be reliable accountable punctual & have a strong work ethic
Conflict resolution & de-escalation skills preferred.
Strong customer service skills.
Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
Must be able to conduct foot and/or mobile patrols throughout shift During various weather conditions.
Must be able to stay alert & have great attention to detail.
Must be comfortable conducting access control duties.
Must have a reliable means of transportation & communication.

WORKING CONDITIONS (Physical/Mental Demands)

Maintaining composure in dealing with authorities executives clients staff and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
May be exposed to stressful situations such as challenging individuals who are in or approaching an unauthorized area.
Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks controlled substance testing and behavioral selection survey in addition to any mandatory licensing requirements.
May be required to work overtime without advance notice.
Required ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Keyboarding basic computer usage and operating controls.
Seeing hearing speaking and writing clearly in order to communicate with employees and clients observe and report incidents and direct others.
Frequent sitting standing and walking which may be required for long periods of time and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
Occasionally reaching with hands and arms stooping kneeling crouching and crawling.
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
Close vision distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
On occasion it may be required to perform stressful and physical activity.
Depending upon assignment may be exposed to inclement weather or be required to work in environments or under conditions that require the use of protective gear and devices and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of others.
May be exposed to or required to handle sensitive and confidential information.
