Location: Toronto (Hybrid)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BTP and Fiori Architect to design implement and optimize SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Fiori solutions for RBC. The ideal candidate will bridge technical expertise with strategic vision ensuring scalable secure and innovative SAP-centric architectures that align with RBCs digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture Design:
Lead the design and implementation of SAP BTP solutions (Cloud Foundry ABAP Environment Integration Suite etc.) and Fiori UX frameworks.
Define microservices APIs and event-driven architectures on BTP to support enterprise-wide applications.
Fiori Development & Governance:
Oversee Fiori app development (SAPUI5 SAP Fiori Elements) and ensure adherence to SAP UX guidelines.
Establish governance frameworks for Fiori app lifecycle management (e.g. SAP Launchpad configuration role-based access).
Integration & Security:
Architect secure integrations between SAP BTP on-premise SAP systems (e.g. S/4HANA) and third-party applications.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce RBCs security policies (e.g. OAuth SAP Cloud Identity Services).
Performance & Scalability:
Optimize BTP services (e.g. HANA Cloud Data Warehouse Cloud) for performance cost efficiency and scalability.
Monitor and troubleshoot BTP/Fiori environments using SAP tools (e.g. SAP Cloud ALM SAP Solution Manager).
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with business units developers and vendors to align technical solutions with RBCs strategic objectives.
Mentor technical teams on SAP BTP/Fiori best practices and emerging trends (e.g. SAP BTP AI/ML services).
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
8 years of SAP experience with 3 years in SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry ABAP Environment) and SAP Fiori (SAPUI5 Fiori Elements).
Expertise in SAP integration tools (CPI API Management SAP Event Mesh).
Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA and cloud-native architectures.
Certifications: SAP Certified Technology Associate/Professional (BTP Fiori or related).
Preferred:
Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud SAP Data Warehouse Cloud or SAP AI Core.
Knowledge of DevOps/CI-CD pipelines for SAP BTP (e.g. Jenkins GitHub SAP Business Application Studio).
Financial services industry experience (e.g. banking compliance regulatory frameworks).
