Job Summary
Haycarb PLC a member of the Hayleys Group is a global leader in coconut shell-based activated carbon manufacturing. We operate in key international markets with manufacturing facilities in Sri Lanka Thailand and Indonesia and marketing offices in the USA Australia and Sri Lanka our manufacturing facilities are in the Northwestern and Western Provinces.
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Project Engineer in Mechanical backgroundto join our team at the Head Office in Colombo 10. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to global business operations while driving growth and customer engagement.
Position: Project Engineer - Mechanical Engineering
Location: Haycarb Head Office Colombo 10
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage mechanical engineering projects from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with electrical civil and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Perform feasibility studies risk assessments and cost-benefit analyses for project proposals.
- Develop and design mechanical systems and components ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from an IESL-recognized university.
- Minimum of 23 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong academic background with a genuine passion for mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software and a solid understanding of project management principles.
- Excellent problem-solving communication and teamwork skills.
