ACCHOs deliver comprehensive primary health care to more than half of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples nationally.
About the Role
The National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) is seeking an Assistant Director Mental Health to provide leadership and drive national mental health suicide prevention and social and emotional wellbeing initiatives for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
This senior role offers the opportunity to shape strategic policy and program delivery advocate on complex and sensitive issues and strengthen community controlled mental health programs across the ACCHO sector.

About You
To succeed in this role you will bring:
Tertiary qualification in relevant health or social work field is highly desirable.
Experience managing staff and teams.
Experience at level in a similar organisation or role is essential.
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is highly desirable.
