Commercial Lines Inside Sales & Marketing Coordinator Location: Wellesley Westwood or Franklin MA The Commercial Lines Inside Sales & Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting profitable new business growth at Deland Gibson. This role is designed as a developmental position that begins with a strong focus on commercial lines marketing quoting binding and issuing new business and evolves over time into a full inside sales role. In the initial phase the position supports producers and the sales organization by efficiently managing select-market and small commercial opportunitiesensuring speed to quote accuracy in placement and a high-quality client experience. As the role develops the coordinator assumes increasing responsibility for managing inbound leads producer handoffs and inside sales opportunities operating within DGs Ideal Client Profile and GRIP-based sales process. This role is essential to protecting producer capacity strengthening carrier relationships and supporting DGs scalable growth strategy. Phase One Responsibilities: - Market quote present bind and issue new Select Market commercial insurance accounts
- Collaborate closely with producers account managers and carrier partners throughout the new business lifecycle
- Gather underwriting information prepare and submit applications and manage carrier follow-ups
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of policy documentation coverage placement and policy issuance
- Support remarketing efforts when needed to secure the best coverage and pricing options
- Maintain accurate and timely data entry within Applied Epic and related systems
Phase Two Responsibilities: - Identify qualify and engage new business opportunities through inbound leads producer handoffs and targeted outbound outreach
- Conduct discovery conversations aligned with DGs GRIP sales framework
- Educate and advise prospects on coverage options and risk considerations within defined authority levels
- Present proposals and close business within assigned parameters
- Transition bound accounts smoothly to the service team ensuring proper onboarding and documentation
- Maintain clear professional communication with clients carriers and internal stakeholders
- Consistently represent DGs value proposition service standards and consultative sales approach
Qualifications: - 2 years of Property & Casualty insurance experience
- Active Massachusetts P&C License required
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages and underwriting basics
- Sales aptitude with a consultative mindset
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Applied Epic preferred
- Bachelors degree
