Our client a construction company seeks to employ a Head of Construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project delivery from planning to handover.
- Develop and implement construction methodologies schedules and site operations plans.
- Manage project budgets cost control and profitability.
- Oversee contract administration subcontractor management and variation orders.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards quality control and regulatory compliance.
- Lead and develop project and site teams including managers engineers and supervisors.
- Liaise with clients consultants and other stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in construction processes and performance.
Requirements
- 10 years experience in the construction industry with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end construction projects from planning to delivery.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies site operations and project scheduling.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee budgets cost control and project profitability.
- Experience with contract administration subcontractor management and variations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage project and site teams.
- Solid understanding of HSE standards quality control and regulatory compliance.
- Effective stakeholder management skills including clients and consultants.
- Relevant qualification in Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
- Professional certification will be an added advantage.
