Through a world-class research library public programs educational initiatives and a host of digital offerings it is the leading institution documenting one of the most important Americans of the twentieth OpportunityThe George C. Marshall Foundation seeks a full-time Director of Education and Programs to expand its existing Summer Teachers Institute and chart the path for new educational programs including those catering to home school and classical school audiences. The successful candidate will report directly to the President of the Marshall Foundation Library. General responsibilitiesPlan and conduct annual Summer Teachers InstitutesConduct online version of Teachers InstitutePlot strategy implement and conduct education programs for home school and classical schoolsAssist the President in planning and implementing annual Marshall ROTC Award programAssist with other Marshall Foundation programsQualificationsBachelors degreeExperience in secondary education either in classroom or a museum/library settingEnjoy adapting multi-tasking and working independentlyPossess intellectual curiosityDemonstrate excellent oral and written communication skillsKnowledge of 20th century U.S. History (preferred)Experience delivering online programs (preferred)This is a full-time exempt position (40 hours per week). Salary commensurate with experience.
