Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) for a short-term contract assignment at a long-term care facility in Rochester NH. The Director of Nursing will oversee nursing operations ensure quality patient care maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and lead the nursing team to deliver exceptional care to residents.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and supervision to the nursing staff.
Oversee daily clinical operations and ensure high standards of resident care.
Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations.
Coordinate with physicians therapists and interdisciplinary teams for resident care planning.
Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Manage staffing scheduling and performance evaluations of nursing personnel.
Ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
Support staff development and training programs.
Requirements
Active RN License (State of New Hampshire or Compact State)..
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of long-term care regulations and compliance standards.
BLS Certification required.
