Restaurant General Manager

By the Sea Resorts is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the operations at our multiple outlets in beautiful Panama City Beach Restaurant General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall success of the restaurant. They oversee all aspects of the restaurants operations including food and beverage preparation service customer service staff management and financial performance. The GM must be able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. They must also have a strong understanding of the restaurant industry and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Salary commensurate with experience. Must be available to work evenings weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the restaurants operations including food and beverage preparation service customer service staff management and financial performance
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the restaurants profitability
• Hire train and supervise restaurant staff
• Create and maintain a positive work environment
• Ensure that all food and beverage is prepared and served in accordance with the restaurants standards
• Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
• Develop and implement new menu items
• Work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure that the restaurant is meeting its goals
• Resolve customer complaints and issues

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in a restaurant management role
• Strong understanding of the restaurant industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to motivate and lead a team
