Job Summary
An exciting opportunity is available for a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Lower Mid-North Coast Pharmacotherapy Service based at Manning Base Hospital Campus in Taree situated along the beautiful Manning River.

About the Service
You will be working within a small supportive opiate treatment service that delivers person-centred compassionate care to our local community. Our team works closely together to support clients engaging in pharmacotherapy services and we value collaboration mutual support and a positive workplace culture - with room for a bit of friendly banter along the way. The service is conveniently located close to supermarkets retail shops and other local amenities.
About the Role
In this role you will provide pharmacotherapy services to clients across the local region. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conducting client assessments and reviews
- Supporting Medical Officer clinics
- Implementing and monitoring individualised treatment regimes
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrating autonomy in managing tasks within appropriate timeframes
- Hours will be discussed with the convenor and manager at interview.
About You
The successful candidate will be:
- Calm approachable and respectful
- Professional ethical and able to maintain appropriate boundaries
- Good-natured and able to work effectively within a team environment
- Experienced in Drug and Alcohol nursing and/or willing to learn and develop in this specialty
- Demonstrated experience knowledge and understanding of Drug and Alcohol services is essential or a strong willingness to upskill in this area.

Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Eligible to drive in NSW and ability to undertake work responsibilities out of normal work hours with a willingness to travel when required.
