Victoria University (VU) Sydneys partnership with ECAestablished more than a decade agooffers internationally recognised and industry-relevant courses to both international and domestic students. We deliver a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in business information systems and early childhood education.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Student Services Officer to join our VU Sydney team. As a key member of the Student Experience team you will play an essential role in supporting students throughout their learning journey while enjoying opportunities to grow your career within the education sector. We are seeking a motivated enthusiastic and proactive individual who is keen to contribute to our collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and delivery of student engagement retention and orientation initiatives.
  • Support the collection of and help maintain accurate data on student attendance participation and satisfaction.
  • Assist in the coordination of student events mentoring and support programs that foster a positive and inclusive campus culture.
  • Conduct surveys and collate feedback to inform continuous improvement of the student experience.
  • Provide responsive high-quality support to students referring complex issues as required.
  • Collaborate with academic and professional staff to enhance student connection and success throughout the student lifecycle.

As the successful candidate you will ideally have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
  • At least one year of experience in student support administration or a related field.
  • Strong communication interpersonal and organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and engage effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of the ESOS Act and National Code relevant to international education.
  • Familiarity with student administration systems and experience supporting engagement or event activities (desirable).

  • This is an on-campus role 5 days per week.
  • Applicants must have full work rights in Australia.
