Job Summary

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for a Director of Healthcare Security reporting to the Vice President of Worldwide Operations Security. This role will be responsible for all security related to our Amazon Health Services business including driving fine grained access controls with industry leading data protection modern identity & authorization at large scale secure app design and validation security monitoring incident management global risk management and leading-edge AI based detection mechanisms. Most importantly you will continue growing and evolving a diverse passionate high performing team charged with helping to protect customer trust in Amazon. We operate on a very large scale and demand high standards so a passion and discipline around security and high-quality delivery is critical.

About the team
Bachelors degree in Engineering preferably in Computer Science (or related discipline)
10 years building and managing security teams that are responsible for security of software projects.
5 years people management experience building strong teams of 100 people and managing managers.
Certifications in cyber security.
10 years experience in secure software development and application security.
Experience in software development
Familiarity with network security offensive security threat intelligence.
Strong verbal/written communication and inter-personal skills.
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical dental vision prescription Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans EAP Mental Health Support Medical Advice Line Flexible Spending Accounts Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage) 401(k) matching paid time off and parental leave.
