This role serves as the primary HR leader on-site providing strategic partnership hands-on support and proactive guidance to both hourly and salaried employees. The ideal candidate brings strong HR fundamentals sound judgment and the capability to drive initiatives that elevate the employee experience and strengthen organizational performance.
As the Senior HRBP you will oversee the full spectrum of HR responsibilities including talent acquisition workforce planning employee relations performance management onboarding and training compensation and benefits compliance and HR operations. You will act as a trusted advisor to site leadership diagnosing needs identifying opportunities and implementing HR programs that support engagement safety retention and business results.
This role is critical to shaping a positive highperformance culture at the plant. Success requires strong problemsolving skills the ability to streamline and automate processes and a passion for building scalable and sustainable HR practices. The Senior HRBP reports to the Regional HR Manager and plays an integral role within the site leadership team.

Responsibilities
When your actions lead to success:
- Lead and execute all core HR programs for the site including compensation and payroll oversight benefits and leave administration corrective actions employee relations investigations performance and talent management recognition occupational health and safety and training and development.
- Serve as the primary HR contact for all hourly and salaried employees addressing employment-related inquiries resolving issues and managing sensitive or complex matters with sound judgment and discretion.
- Build strong relationships with employees and leaders serving as a trusted advisor who supports development engagement and a positive workplace culture.
- Oversee full-cycle talent acquisition for the Lenexa facilityfrom crafting job descriptions to sourcing interviewing selecting and onboarding new hires.
- Ensure accurate and compliant HR recordkeeping including personnel files attendance tracking and other required documentation.
- Maintain full compliance with federal state and local employment laws ensuring policies and practices are current consistent and aligned with recommended HR best practices.
- Manage internal communications at the site ensuring employee notices and updates are timely accurate and visible across communication boards and digital displays.
- Own the end-to-end employee experience ensuring a smooth transition from candidate to new hire through the first 90 days of employment.
- Oversee all temporary labor processes including agency partnership management workforce planning with department leaders and weekly payroll approvals.
- Contribute to culture-building initiatives including wellness programs employee engagement activities and continuous improvement efforts that support a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Champion a safe and healthy workplace by reinforcing safety policies supporting OSHA compliance and ensuring timely reporting of first-aid incidents accidents and workplace hazards.
Qualifications
When your expertise drives us:
- Bachelors degree in human resources or a related field; equivalent relevant experience considered.
- 35 years of progressive HR experience ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading fullcycle recruiting in a fastpaced highvolume setting; manufacturing recruiting experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including the ability to run and interpret HR reports analyze data and translate insights into action.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a fastpaced dynamic and constantly evolving environment.
- Strong timemanagement skills with the ability to prioritize organize and manage multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of professionalism discretion and confidentiality.
- Highly selfdirected and resourceful with the ability to lead initiatives independently while also collaborating effectively with leaders and crossfunctional partners.
- Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation including periodic availability across multiple shifts.
