We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a forward-thinking and inclusive primary school in Redbridge. This role offers the opportunity to work with pupils in Years 5 or 6 supporting them during a crucial stage of their primary education as they develop independence resilience and academic confidence.

About the Role

As a UKS2 Teacher you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners. You will teach across the National Curriculum with a strong focus on raising attainment in core subjects while providing a broad and balanced curriculum that promotes curiosity and critical thinking.

You will use assessment effectively to monitor progress identify gaps and plan targeted support to ensure every pupil achieves their potential. High expectations for learning behaviour and presentation will underpin your classroom practice alongside a calm and consistent approach to behaviour management.

This role requires someone who can build strong relationships with pupils colleagues and parents. You will work collaboratively with teaching assistants and UKS2 colleagues to ensure consistency and progression across the phase.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 ideally Upper KS2

• Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
