These positions will earn a base hourly rate between $18.45/hour and $30.00/hour and will be eligible to participate in our company tip pool. Our tip pool distributions fluctuate and we cannot guarantee a certain distribution. However on average employees in these same positions may make between $3.00and $10.00in tips per hour.

As aLine Cook youare responsible forpreparing and delivering world-class culinary experiences to our guests. Youoperatewith consistency and precision whileutilizingpreparation and cooking methods for a quick and distinct execution of our menu this role you will follow specifications and uphold the quality of products while fostering a clean and safe environment. You are a master of your craft.

As aPrep Cook you will ensure your teams success by following specifications and guidelines to ensure product quality and portions are met. You will execute the preparation of all ingredients so that your team can deliver iconic culinary experiences to our guests that are consistent and world-class.

Duties

• Prep all ingredients and food products to fulfill prep lists par levels and recipe standards.
• Utilize various prep and cooking methods to ensure the quick precise creation of our menu itemsin accordance withJOEY recipes. Wash chop cut grill roast sauté fry etc. Coordinate with other stations.
• Develop knife skills for efficiency and safety.
• Communicate with the team to deliver perfect food coordination.
• Maintainprep and cooking areas inacleansanitaryand safe manner.
• Clean organize andmaintainrefrigerators cooler drawers ovensprepand dry storage areas etc.
• Complete assigned side work and closing duties to set your team up for success. Stock clean and organize line stations.
• Follow all instructions and guidelines for safe usage of kitchen equipment and cleaning compounds. Report equipment problems and maintenance issues to leadershipimmediately.
• Follow all food service and handling safety precautions and procedures.

Basic Qualifications

• 1-3 years culinary experience(If you have high potential but less experience we still want to meet you!).
• Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler permits.
• Possess a passion for hospitality and a proventrack recordof creating world-class hospitality experiences.
• Thrive in adynamicfast-paced work environment.
• Be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending reaching and stretching; repetitive manual tasks; and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
