Job Summary

Job Description:
Power BI Developer (1–3 Years Experience)

Role Summary
• Power BI Developer responsible for building and maintaining business reports and dashboards underguidance from senior team members.
• Translate functional requirements into clean data models and visuals with attention to accuracy usabilityand performance.
• Support data integration testing documentation and user training for multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop Power BI datasets DAX measures and visuals for operational and management reporting.
• Build data transformations using Power Query (M) and ensure data refresh reliability with gateways.
• Contribute to report performance optimization and adhere to governance standards (RLS namingconventions).
• Connect to data sources (SQL/Excel/APIs) and assist in basic ETL tasks data validation and qualitychecks.
• Participate in UAT gather feedback fix defects and maintain release documentation.
• Work on-site at client location and travel to plants as and when required; support production stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's in Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Power BI development; exposure to manufacturing or chemicals domain is aplus.
• Solid understanding of DAX Power Query (M) data modeling basics and visualization best practices.
• Working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with SAP HANA/REST APIs is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of Power BI Service (workspaces RLS gateways deployment pipelines).
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn; ability to work on-site and handle deadlines.

Nice to Have
• Exposure to OT/DCS data OEE metrics and plant reporting contexts.
• Azure fundamentals (Data Factory Synapse) or scripting (Python) for data tasks.
• Experience with Power Automate or paginated reports.

Employment Terms
• Role is based at the client location; travel to plant sites will be required as and when needed.
• The person will follow the client's holiday calendar and shift schedules where applicable.
• Adhere to client policies on data privacy information security and safety (including plant PPE andinduction).
• Working hours and on-call support may align with production needs during critical deployments.
