Job Description

Roles & Responsibility

Develop Stamping process by understanding the parts drawing.
Prepare Die specifications.
Floating RFQ for stamping dies to Tool makers
Prepare Line capacity and add capacity based on customer demand.
Die design review and Manufacturing support
Achieve stamping parts accuracy and die prove out
Home line trails and support for Die Maintenance.
Prepare Spare parts of machines and dies order and hand over to Maintenance department.
Preparation of Line and Plant layout

Skill set Required

Understanding of Engineering drawing
Knowledge of Sheet metal Press process development
Knowledge of 2D and 3D Design software
Problem solving in press and assembly process
Knowledge of Yield improvement.
Achieving parts accuracy by improving process and die
Knowledge of various sheet metal stamping process.
Knowledge of Die design review
Knowledge of stamping die trials
Knowledge of Assembly jigs and Fixtures
