Job Summary

Roles & Responsibilities:

Liaise with business data users to understand data needs
Work with stakeholders to define data to be curated and stored
Explore analyze and document source data and systems
Perform complex data analysis based on business requirements
Cleanse and prepare data for consumption
Define data ingestion mappings and transformation rules
Build data products and design models based on requirements
Design and implement data frameworks and ingestion pipelines
Develop data assets perform QA and support user acceptance testing
Investigate and resolve data quality issues with data producers
Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies
Provide documentation training and support for data platform users
Key Requirements:

Strong SQL and Data Warehousing background
SQL Server T-SQL programming (Must have)
SSIS Nice to have
C# & .NET scripting Nice to have
SSRS Nice to have
Experience in traditional Data Warehousing and modern Data Lake design
Strong understanding of Star Schema and Kimball modelling
Experience in data solution design for complex environments
Knowledge of BI data management data quality and ETL frameworks
Experience with RDBMS
Experience with cloud data stacks and big data platforms
Expertise in SQL and data analysis (CSV JSON XML column/row stores)
Data/dimensional modelling with focus on usability and performance
Experience working with APIs and data query engines
Experience across batch real-time and streaming data solutions
Modelling understanding desirable but not mandatory
Optional (Nice to Have):

AWS skills (progression expected but not mandatory)
Python experience (beneficial but not mandatory)
Exposure to AWS Data Lake tools
