The Role
Due to growth we have created a NEW Production Manager role to strengthen leadership across our manufacturing and warehousing operations.
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will lead day-to-day performance across:
- Steel fabrication and welding
- Blast powder coating and wet paint operations
- Mechanical assembly and final QA
- Warehousing internal logistics and dispatch coordination
This is ahands-on leadership role focused on safety delivery quality and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead coach and develop production and warehouse team leaders and teams.
- Deliver production schedules warehouse throughput and capacity plans.
- Ensure efficient material flow from goods-in to dispatch.
- Drive safety 5S lean and continuous improvement across all operations.
- Improve quality reduce rework and waste through strong root-cause analysis.
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics (quality output downtime labour efficiency).
- Ensure compliance asset maintenance and safe operation of the facility.
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain Engineering and Sales.
What Youll Bring
- Proven leadership experience in manufacturing or production environments ideally:
- Metal fabrication and/or
- Machinery or heavy equipment manufacturing
- Experience leading large multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong planning organisational and communication skills.
- A practical improvement-driven leadership style.
