Home Support Association Inc (HSA) originated as a local grass-roots service through the work of people living in this community and driven by the needs of people living in this community and continues to operate under these principles today after more than 30 years of change and growth.

At HSA as a truly local NDIS provider we work alongside people to identify their strengths interests and goals providing just the right amount of support they need to be able to live the lifestyle they choose.

The role:

As a Plan Manager you will help NDIS participants understand their plans and manage their budgets with this role youll act as a financial intermediary between participants and their providers ensuring invoices and claims are processed accurately efficiently and within required timeframes.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting the rights of people with a disability and working collaboratively with mutual trust and respect. You will need to have effective problem solving and decision-making skills and the ability to schedule your work to meet deadlines in a busy environment. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively build and maintain positive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience within plan management or finance/bookkeeping
  • Qualification in finance/bookkeeping minimum Certificate III in Accounts Administration
  • Professional Body Membership with ICB Australia (or similar)
  • Ability to work from our Rockhampton office for up to 38 hours per week part-time considered
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team establish work priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of computer skills including sound knowledge of the MS Office Suite and working knowledge of PACE and PRODA preferred but not required
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail as well as tact diplomacy and confidentiality in dealing with a variety of external agencies and service users and their families and/or guardians
  • Current Working with Children Check (blue card) and NDIS Worker Screening Check (yellow card) or ability to acquire
