We are recruiting for a Researcher / Market Analyst role. The incumbent must have experience doing research and marketing in the construction and/or education industry.
Key Responsibilities- Identifying Market Opportunities: Recognising gaps in companys operating environment where its services can be expanded and improved
- Evaluating Market Costing: Benchmarking to align company budget estimates to actual market costs
- Understanding Client Behaviour: Gaining insights into client preferences engagement with the company and decision-making processes
- Evaluating Marketing Strategies: Measuring the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies to optimise marketing efforts and budget allocation
- Forecasting Market Trends: Predicting future market trends to stay ahead of the curve and make proactive business decisions
- Improving Service Delivery: Using market research to inform the development of new services or the improvement of existing ones to better meet client needs
- Setting Realistic Targets: Establishing achievable goals for growth and client service based on market research findings
- Risk Mitigation: Identifying potential risks in the companys operating environment and developing strategies to mitigate them
- Supporting company Strategy: Providing a solid foundation of market knowledge to support overall business strategy and long-term planning
- Enhancing Client Experience: Using feedback and insights from market research to enhance the customer experience
Required experience and qualifications:- Must have 5 years of experience in a similar role
- NQF 6 or higher qualification in a related field will be beneficial
Certifications (must have at least ONE of the following):- Professional Researcher Certification (PRC) OR
- Certified Market Research Analyst (CMRA) OR
- Market Research Society (MRS) Advanced Certificate OR
- Gartner/Forrester Certified Analyst OR
- Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) OR
- Competitive Intelligence Professional (CIP)
