Job Summary
Job Title: Branch Manager Lift & Escalator Industry
Location: Johannesburg South Africa
Position Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to R650 000 per annum (including company vehicle medical aid and provident fund)
About the Role
A well-established organisation in the lift and escalator industry is seeking a confident and commercially minded Branch Manager to lead its Johannesburg operation.
This role requires a strong leader who is comfortable engaging with clients driving sales growth and managing operational performance. The successful candidate will oversee a team of supervisors and technicians while ensuring exceptional customer service delivery across the branch.
We are looking for someone energetic decisive and solutions-focused a leader who is confident enough to challenge ideas drive improvement and build strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Johannesburg branch ensuring operational efficiency and service excellence
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Drive sales growth and identify new business opportunities within the region
- Manage mentor and motivate a team of supervisors and field technicians
- Ensure service delivery meets quality safety and regulatory standards
- Monitor branch performance budgets and operational targets
- Address customer concerns professionally and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
- Implement strategies to improve service delivery team performance and profitability
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in the lift / elevator / escalator industry (highly preferred)
- Strong background in customer service and sales
- Experience managing technical teams including supervisors and field technicians
- Confident communicator who is comfortable meeting clients and building relationships
- Energetic proactive and capable of making independent decisions
- Strong operational and commercial awareness
- Valid South African ID or valid work authorisation
- Valid drivers licence
