Job Title: Senior Support Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Support Analyst with expertise in maintaining and optimizing existing systems managing change processes and supporting code management and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace strong debugging skills for Angular and Java applications and proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server scripting. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as OCP (OpenShift) and experience with Stonebranch are highly valued. A proactive collaborative mindset and prior banking experience are advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- System Maintenance & Support
- Monitor troubleshoot and optimize existing systems to ensure high availability performance and security.
- Proactively identify and resolve system issues to minimize downtime.
- Change & Code Management
- Coordinate structured change management processes (e.g. ITIL frameworks).
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure version control best practices (e.g. Git) and code quality.
- CI/CD Pipeline Support
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI) for Angular and Java applications.
- Ensure smooth integration testing and deployment workflows.
- Monitoring & Debugging
- Utilize monitoring tools like Dynatrace to track system performance and identify anomalies.
- Debug Angular and Java applications analyzing logs with strong logical skills to resolve complex issues.
- Cloud & Database Management
- Support applications deployed on OCP (OpenShift) or similar cloud platforms.
- Write and optimize Microsoft SQL Server scripts for database maintenance and automation.
- Leverage Stonebranch for job scheduling and workflow automation.
- Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with DevOps development and operations teams to ensure seamless workflows.
- Maintain clear documentation for systems processes and troubleshooting guides.
Qualifications & Skills
- Required:
- 9 years of experience in technical support DevOps or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Dynatrace AppDynamics).
- Strong debugging skills for Angular and Java applications including log analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server scripting.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. OCP AWS Azure) and job scheduling tools (e.g. Stonebranch).
- Familiarity with change management (ITIL) and version control (Git).
- Proactive collaborative and accountable mindset.
- Preferred:
- Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Certifications in cloud platforms or monitoring tools.
Experience (Years): 4-6 Essential Skills: Work with project teams throughout the organization to design implement and manage CDN infrastructure using Akamai to ensure high availability performance and scalability for customer facing applications and business processes. Handle multiple priorities and assignments with excellence and precision. Be a part of a 24/7/365 organization (some after hours support is expected as part of normal on-call rotation). Directly support line of business development teams provide guidance to them on implementation and changes for customer facing applications Develop and maintain security protocols and measures to protect CDN infrastructure from cyber threats. Monitor and analyze network performance identifying and resolving issues to optimize content delivery of critical applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Akamai CDN solutions with existing systems and applications. Collaborate with information security teams to implement DDoS protection strategies and other security measures in the CDN. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams regarding CDN and security best practices. Work closely with vendor and professional service teams on delivery related activities and strategy. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. OR similar work experience. Strong understanding of network protocols (HTTP/HTTPS DNS TCP/IP). Proven experience as a CDN Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on -depth knowledge of Content Delivery Network technologies including caching load balancing and content optimization. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Experience supporting 24/7/365 customer facing applications at enterprise scale. Awareness and experience with cybersecurity tools and practices such as firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems and encryption. Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g. Python Bash) a plus. Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CEH) are a plus but not required.
