Role Descriptions: Solution Architect and Test Lead
Work Type: Hybrid 2 days at onsite( Monday Tuesday and Thursday)
Key Responsibilities
1. Application Support & Incident Management
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Copperleaf C55 / IFS Copperleaf modules.
Troubleshoot issues related to investment models value frameworks portfolios and asset risk models.
Coordinate with Copperleaf vendor support for complex issues and patch escalations.
Maintain SLAs as per AMS guidelines (incident resolution service restoration).
2. System Administration & Maintenance
Monitor application performance integrations and batch processes.
Perform system health checks configuration updates and user access reviews.
Support cloud deployment and infrastructure operations for IFS Copperleaf environments.
Ensure proactive monitoring and minimize downtime following IFS Copperleaf Support Services guidelines.
3. Configuration & Release Management
Manage updates to value models scoring logic portfolio groupings and cost models.
Apply Copperleaf patches upgrades and configuration changes during release cycles.
Validate data integrity and ensure compatibility of new features with utility operations.
4. Enhancements & Continuous Improvement
Work with business stakeholders (Asset Management Engineering Finance Planning) to gather enhancement requirements.
Implement minor configuration enhancements to support evolving utility needs such as risk scoring changes investment planning templates ESG measure updates and scenario modeling improvements.
Support optimization processes aligned with Copperleafs PredictOptimizeManage framework.
5. Data Management & Integration Support
Support ETL jobs and integrations with EAM/ERP (SAP Maximo) GIS SCADA and financial systems.
Ensure consistent data flow for asset attributes cost data risk indicators and operational constraints.
Troubleshoot data sync issues and validate investment data quality.
6. Business Support & Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with investment planning teams to ensure the system supports longterm grid planning risk mitigation decarbonization and regulatory compliance.
Assist users in modeling investment scenarios value tradeoffs and riskbased prioritizationkey principles used by Copperleaf customers in the utility sector.
Provide daytoday guidance on the Copperleaf Value Framework and portfolio modeling.
7. Training & User Enablement
Prepare job aids release notes and training content for Copperleaf end users.
Conduct workshops to demonstrate new features value models and portfolio optimization workflows.
Support onboarding of new users across engineering planning asset management and finance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
-Technical Skills
Strong functional and technical knowledge of Copperleaf C55 / IFS Copperleaf modules and value frameworks.
Understanding of Asset Investment Planning (AIPM) and utility industry investment methodologies.
Experience with SQL data integration ETL pipelines and troubleshooting analytics pipelines.
Familiarity with enterprise asset management systems (SAP PM Maximo) and GIS systems.
Knowledge of risk modeling cost estimation frameworks and decision analytics used in utilities.
- AMS Skills
Incident/Problem/Change Management (ITIL recommended).
Release & configuration management experience in an enterprise application environment.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain SLAs.
Experience working in structured AMS delivery models (onsite/offshore/hybrid).

Ability to work with cross-functional utilities teams (Asset Management Engineering Finance Planning).
Documentation and training experience.
- Preferred Experience
37 years in AMS roles supporting enterprise applications.
Experience working with Copperleaf in the utilities sectorelectric water or gas utilities.
Exposure to asset planning capital delivery regulatory filings and risk management processes.
Familiarity with ESG frameworks and long-term capital planning models referenced in Copperleaf use cases.
