The Customer Success Associate (Student Support and Placement) plays a critical role in supporting our alumni (Decadevs) by ensuring timely communication professional handling of documents job-readiness support and effective coordination of loan liquidation documentation. The role also involves supporting unplaced Decadevs by reviewing their CVs providing job-readiness guidance and connecting them to relevant job opportunities. Overall this position is central to enhancing the Decadevs experience improving placement outcomes and supporting successful loan repayment.
Job Description
- Promptly respond to enquiries from ex-Decadevs via approved communication channels.
- Manage communication channels maintain open and consistent communication with graduates awaiting placement to ensure continued engagement and readiness for employment.
- Provide clear guidance on next steps related to placement documentation and loan obligations.
- Schedule and coordinate document pick-up dates ensuring a professional and seamless experience.
- Maintain accurate records of document requests collections and outstanding items.
- Work closely with GAPs to ensure they are job-ready well-prepared and available for placement opportunities.
- Track placement readiness status and follow up where gaps are identified.
- Coordinate with hiring partners and internal teams to match Decadevs to relevant job opportunities.
- Provide professional and empathetic communication across both repayment and placement efforts.
- Work hand-in-hand with loan recovery agents to support graduates with outstanding loan obligations.
- Receive and review monthly loan recovery reports from loan recovery agents update internal databases and share progress reports with management.
- Identify trends and flag repayment or placement challenges early.
- Perform other related administrative and support duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in any discipline (Admin HR Social Sciences etc.).
- 13 years of experience in administrative placement or student support roles.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with empathy and clarity.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and internal databases.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive documents and confidential information.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented with good record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a team with great organizational habits.
- Previous experience in customer success student support placement coordination or operations.
- Experience working with graduates alumni or loan-based programs is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CRM tools spreadsheets and reporting systems.
