Job Summary

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Operations Specialist to support and strengthen agency operations. This role is responsible for optimizing Vertafore AMS360 usage improving operational workflows and ensuring accurate revenue and commission reconciliation across multiple insurance carriers for both commercial and personal lines.

The ideal candidate brings strong system knowledge a detail-oriented mindset and a solid understanding of insurance operations and accounting processes. This position plays a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy system integrity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as the internal subject matter expert for Vertafore AMS360 including setup workflows reporting and data standards
Ensure consistent and accurate use of AMS360 across commercial and personal lines
Train internal users on AMS360 best practices and system navigation
Monitor data integrity and resolve system discrepancies
Reconcile past and current carrier commissions and ensure accurate posting
Access multiple carrier portals to verify payments and commission statements
Define implement and improve operational processes within AMS360
Document and improve workflows related to policy issuance endorsements renewals cancellations and claims support
Collaborate with producers CSRs and leadership to enforce process compliance
Reconcile carrier payments and commissions across multiple carriers
Resolve discrepancies between carrier remittances and internal financial records
Support month-end and quarterly financial processes related to carrier revenue
Prepare reports on aging commissions revenue variances and accounts receivable
Maintain organized documentation of reconciliation work and system notes



Requirements

Proven experience building and managing Vertafore AMS360 systems
Strong understanding of insurance operations across commercial and personal lines
Extensive experience working with multiple insurance carriers
Ability to accurately reconcile financial and commission data
Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable documenting processes and training internal teams
