Job Summary

cFocus Software seeks a Configuration/Asset Manager to join our program supporting the Department of Defense (DoD). This position is remote. This position requires the ability a Public Trust clearance.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Information Technology Information Systems Business or a related field.
5 years of experience in configuration management and/or IT asset management.
Experience supporting IT or software development programs.
Knowledge of ITIL configuration and asset management practices.
Experience supporting change management and release management processes.
Familiarity with DoD or federal IT environments.
Strong organizational documentation and analytical skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD CAC and required background investigation.

Duties:

Manage and enforce configuration management processes for DSAID systems and environments.
Maintain configuration baselines for applications infrastructure and documentation.
Track configuration items (CIs) across development test training and production environments.
Support Change Control Board (CCB) activities including change documentation and approvals.
Maintain version control for system artifacts releases and documentation.
Manage IT asset inventories including hardware software licenses and cloud resources.
Ensure asset accountability lifecycle tracking and reconciliation.
Support audits inspections and compliance reviews related to CM and asset management.
Coordinate with cybersecurity staff to ensure CM supports RMF and ATO requirements.
Support release management and deployment activities.
Maintain CM and asset management documentation SOPs and reports.
Use approved tools to track configurations assets changes and baselines.
Support transition-in transition-out and knowledge transfer activities.
