Introduction
Lewisham Council Pension Fund part of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) has over 27000 members and 40 scheme employers. We are expanding our Pensions Team following a restructure and now have exciting opportunities for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team.

To be suitable for this role you need to have excellent knowledge of the LGPS and associated regulations. The successful candidate will have comprehensive experience of administering a final salary pension scheme and a CARE will be self-motivated possess effective communication skills have strong numeracy skills and good attention to detail and enjoy the challenge of working on the full range of LGPS administration as well as checking all benefit calculations to ensure accuracy. You will be a strong team player and be able to mentor and motivate other team members. Above all you will be highly focused taking responsibility for providing a high quality and efficient service. Good working knowledge of the pension administration system Altair would be an advantage.

Location
We offer a hybrid working environment for our staff where you will work 3 days a week from our modern offices at Laurence House in Catford and 2 days a week from home.

Salary
45852 to 47925 per annum (PO2)
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale) which is subject to evidential proof.
