Job Summary
We are in the market for a Regulatory / Legislative Specialist. They will be responsible for ensuring ICT compliance with applicable laws regulations and governance frameworks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advise on ICT-related legislation and regulatory compliance
- Support POPIA ECTA and cybersecurity compliance initiatives
- Conduct compliance assessments and audits
- Develop compliance frameworks and policies
- Any other regulatory and/or legislative elements relating to ICT and /or the organisation as a whole.
- 5 years experience in ICT regulatory and legislative compliance
- Must have a strong understanding of South African ICT legislation
- Degree in Law Governance or related field
- Relevant compliance or governance certification (advantageous)
