Job Purpose
Were looking for a highly skilled Lead Relationship Performance & Contract Specialist to join our Product Design & Innovation team. This role is not limited to PDI the successful candidate will support organisational strategic levers across the bank ensuring alignment prioritisation and consistent execution of contractual and governance requirements. You will collaborate across silos to drive the end-to-end contract lifecycle across payments digital products and innovation initiatives ensuring governance compliance and commercial excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead drafting reviewing negotiating and finalizing complex and high-value contracts.
- Ensure alignment with Legal Risk Compliance Procurement and Governance frameworks.
- Act as a key governance control point to mitigate contractual and operational risks.
- Manage prioritisation of work SLAs and expectations across multiple business areas.
- Collaborate across organisational silos to support enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.
- Support product and innovation teams with contract advisory for safe and fast innovation delivery.
- Build and manage strategic 3rd Parties and partner relationships.
- Contribute to sourcing processes (RFQ/RFI/RFP) and strategic 3rd parties and partners performance oversight.
- Maintain contract repositories version control and audit-ready documentation.
- Drive improvements in contract processes and tools.
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred Qualification
- Degree in Law Commerce Business Administration or related field.
- Certifications in Contract Management Procurement or Legal Practice (advantageous).
- Payment Solutions Certificate (advantageous).
Minimum Experience Level
- 5 years experience in Contract Management Legal Advisory Governance or related fields.
- Experience in financial services payments digital solutions or Fintech.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage prioritisation SLAs and cross-functional delivery.
