Overview
The Senior Manager Field Operations is responsible for managing plans and executing tactics in the areas of Speaker Bureau Management Fleet Local Regional Conventions Credentialing Promotional Material Fulfillment Field Communications and Roster Management under the direction of the AD Field Operations.
The Manager/Senior Manager partners with both key internal stakeholders and Field Operations vendors in the areas noted above leveraging a working knowledge of industry standards for pharmaceutical programs and legal and compliance risks. The Manager/Senior Manager also understands how to analyze relevant reports and metrics and share key findings with leadership.
This position requires an understanding of brand and sales strategy as well as market dynamics; a team player mentality with strong collaboration skills customer focus and the ability to effectively interact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders; and strong attention to detail while maintaining focus on continuous improvement and creation of industry-best internal and customer-facing operations and processes.
Responsibilities
- Serves as day-to-day manager for plans supporting strategy for Speaker Bureau Management Fleet Local Regional Conventions Credentialing Promotional Material Fulfillment Field Communications and Roster Management and carries out tasks associated with these plans in coordination with other functions and stakeholders
- Supports management of vendor relationships across the areas of focus and analysis of vendor performance ensuring alignment with business expectations and agreed deliverables; including coordination of formal vendor business reviews
- Manages operational integration for new field-based hires; requiring partnership with Training Human Resources Finance and other functions
- Executes distribution and archiving of field communications
- Supports proper SOP documentation related to duties and responsibilities within the team
- Prioritizes and responds to internal inquiries and requests
- Supports generation of insights and identification of opportunities for improvement
- Monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality accuracy and process consistency in all efforts
Minimum Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Bachelors degree or equivalent applicable experience required
- Minimum 5 years prior experience in pharma or biotech industries and/or serving as an industry vendor
- Minimum 3 years experience in commercial operations and/or serving as a commercial operations vendor
- Experience monitoring managing and improving vendor processes
- Experience analyzing data sets and communicating findings to leadership
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of industry standards for field operations
- Experience managing projects with cross-functional teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of operating budgets
Other Requirements
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically as required (up to 25%)
- Must live a commutable distance to our US Corporate Headquarters in Florham Park NJ. Office presence required at least 3 days per week
Additional Information
The base salary range for this full-time position is $140000 - $170000. Individual pay is determined by several factors which include but are not limited to: job-related skills experience and relevant education or training. The range does not include the comprehensive benefits bonus long-term incentive applicable allowances or any additional compensation that may be associated with this role.
