The role
As an HSE Coordinator at Vector you will play a vital role in supporting the HSE team and assisting in the effective implementation of our health safety and environmental systems across a highrisk highly-regulated environment. Youll maintain the integrity of safety documentation support incident management processes and coordinate training and audits amongst other activities.
This role is a great entry point for someone starting or building their health and safety career. Its a role where you can develop quickly gain broad organisational visibility and contribute meaningfully to a safer future for our people and communities.
This role is available on a fixed term basis for a period of 1 year.
Who are we looking for
- NZQA Level 3 Workplace Health & Safety qualification (or working towards it) or equivalent experience in HSE coordination is strongly preferred
- Experience within highhazard industries such as utilities construction or manufacturing is advantageous
- Strong organisational and communication skills with confidence using Microsoft Office
- Proactive selfmotivated and comfortable working independently with the ability to follow up actions and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Understanding of safety systems permittowork processes and/or contractor management is a bonus.
