Job Summary

As a Roster Coordinator you will effectively coordinate the administrative function of workforce planning to ensure St John staff are in the right place at the right time. You will work closely with ambulance staff and the leadership team to achieve the goals and youll be responsible for ongoing maintenance of database records for daily staff rosters managing weekly rosters and administering leave requests.
It is a busy and varied role supporting a 24 hour 7-day operation where no two days are the same. You will juggle meeting the staffing service levels along with the needs of our staff. We are looking for a professional and adaptable administrator/coordinator with a can-do attitude. You may be in or have exposure to a similar scheduling or planning roles and are looking for a change or you may be interested in learning more and giving it a go. This is a service orientated role so picking up the phone and talking must be enjoyable to you.
Qualifications :
Ko wai koe - About you:
- An unflappable nature and resilience
- Ideally some experience in rostering
- Strong MS Office skills - Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience in a customer service-related role
- Ability to work with systems and processes
- Take pride and care in your work showing strong accuracy
- Excellent planning organisation and time management skills
