The Opportunity

The Faculty of Education is seeking a Senior Governance and Compliance Officer to provide high-level administrative and governance support to enable the Faculty of Education to deliver on its strategic objectives. The role plays a key part in ensuring the Faculty meets its obligations in relation to course accreditation regulatory requirements and education-related compliance processes working closely with the Facultys Education team academic leaders and partners to support high-quality outcomes and continuous improvement.

This position delivers comprehensive secretariat support to Faculty committees and provides specialist advice that informs effective decision-making and drives the advancement of Faculty addition the role undertakes a broad range of administrative responsibilities to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the Governance and Compliance team.

As the successful candidate you will have highly developed planning and organisational skills with the ability to set priorities implement improvements and meet deadlines in a complex environment. You will demonstrate strong attention to detail analytical problem-solving and the ability to engage and influence a range of stakeholders.

You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills preparing professional documentation and providing expert advice as required. Collaborating with senior leadership you will support committees coordinate meetings and ensure smooth operations while demonstrating advanced computer literacy in systems such as TRIM and Visio.
